Meet our panelists:
Ted is a Senior Project Leader in NREL’s Market Transformation Group, and is located at NREL’s Washington, D.C., office. As the task leader for the EPAct program within the U.S. Department of Energy’s Vehicle Technologies Office, Ted leads the support for the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Vehicle Technologies on the State & Alternative Fuel Provider Fleet program, New Rulemaking, and Legislative Analysis.
Ira Dassa is a Senior Regulatory Specialist with New West Technologies, LLC, a consulting firm that provides technical and engineering services to Federal, State, and private sector clients in, among other areas, alternative and renewable fuels, advanced vehicle technologies, and advanced transportation systems. Ira currently assists the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in managing the U.S. Department of Energy’s State and Alternative Fuel Provider Fleet Program under the Energy Policy Act of 1992, as amended. A member of the District of Columbia Bar, he received his Juris Doctor degree (with high honors) from the George Washington University National Law Center and has almost 25 years of experience, the vast majority of it environmental and energy related legal and regulatory experience.
